Student Aid, Access, & Affordability
The Educational Policy Institute is an international leader in the area of
student financial aid policy and postsecondary access. Dr. Swail, president
of EPI, and Mr. Usher, Vice President of EPI, have extensive background and
research and policy making in this area, and both have written extensively
on the topic.
EPI has conducted a number of projects related to student aid and postsecondary
access over recent years in the US and Canada, and also related to international
issues. The work includes policy studies of tuition policies, admissions policies,
and also evaluations of scholarship programs and other policy initiatives.
