VIRGINIA BEACH, VA -- May 8,
2007 -- The Educational Policy
Institute, a non-profit research organization
based in Virginia Beach, VA, was named
yesterday as a primary grant program
evaluator for the School District of
Osceola County in Florida. Based in
the Kissimmee area of Florida (Disney),
the District serves over 50,000 students
in 36 schools
and employs 6,200 staff members, putting
it among the largest 100 school districts
in the United States.
The Educational Policy Institute won
a competitive bid along with four other
organizations to provide evaluation and
research support for a three-year period
beginning immediately and ending in 2009.
