EPI Canada Writes Report on Mining Labour Transitions
 
 


TORONTO, ONTARIO, September 5, 2007 —
The Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) has released a report examining labour market transition options. The report was written under contract by the Canadian office of the Educational Policy Institute.

The report documents key stakeholder talent management strategies dealing with individuals from declining industries and identified transition opportunities for the mining industry. The report is part of the Council’s overall workforce strategy to increase workforce management awareness in the mining sector.
