Dr. David Lopez, Senior Research Scientist
Dr. Lopez is a statistics expert wtih a strong research background in K-12 education issues, including education reform and NCLB Accountabilty. He has over 15 years of management consulting experience in public and private industry and has Active Security Clearance (Secret) from the U.S. Department of Defense.
Dr. Lopez received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Kent State University in 1993. Following graduation, he accepted a two-year post-doctoral research fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development and Education (1993-1995) specializing in Lifespan Developmental Psychology and Multivariate Statistics. In 1997, he joined the faculty of Bard College and was promoted to Associate Professor of Psychology in 2002. In 2003, Dr. Lopez began pursuing a career in Educational Consulting and formed the iAnalystics Statistical Consulting Group, and signed on with EPI in 2008 as an advisor and consultant.
