EPI Events
EPI and the Department of Economics at McMaster jointly hosted a conference on quality assessment in post-secondary education in Hamilton, Ontario on April 6th and 7th, 2006. This conference brought together over 125 individuals from around the world who engaged in discussions about current practices in quality measurement in post-secondary education. As well, participants discussed topics such as what can and should be measured in terms of quality, the impact that institutional and government policy have on quality, and the role that rankings systems play in the pursuit of quality, including the ways in which it is measured.
Thank you to those of you who attended the conference: your participation and perspectives made for interesting and insightful discussions. We are pleased to make the details of conference proceedings available to all delegates and interested parties, and we look forward to seeing you at future events.
