An Evaluation of Iowa’s Reading First Program (2007-08), Iowa Department of Education
The Iowa Department of Education contracted EPI to conduct an evaluation of their statewide Reading First Program, a federally-sponsored program which targets students from kindergarten through the third grade. This evaluation includes descriptive and inferential statistical analyses of state-level student academic data; a survey of state Reading First schools; and case studies of the ten best-performing schools.
