Dr. Wilkinson is Director of Analysis, Planning and Assessment at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. His major area of interest is integrating assessment of student learning, strategic enrollment management, and issues of student success into a comprehensive institutional strategic planning process. Dr. Wilkinson is well published and is a frequent presenter in the areas of strategic planning, strategic enrollment management, and creative uses of institutional data to address critical issues of student success and strategic positioning.
In his role at Pittsburg State, Dr. Wilkinson is responsible for designing, implementing and shepherding a comprehensive strategic planning process which incorporates the findings and outcomes of the recent Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association self-study. Additionally, he is responsible for coordinating all state and federal data reporting as well as a significant portion of the internal data reporting and for overseeing and coordinating all assessment of student learning activity and integrating this information into all institutional decision-making.
Dr. Wilkinson earned his doctorate in education from Penn State University, and his MA and BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas.
